About Us

Your Events is a website that enables you to browse and promote events FOR FREE in any region throughout New Zealand.

Our Aim

It is our aim to provide a one-stop nationwide resource of what is going on in your community. We aim to provide the ability for YOU to list and search events in your region for FREE!

From a school gala to rock concerts, garage sales to Christmas parades, fund raisers to town meetings, Your Events is aiming to inform what is going on around you!

How great will it be when you travel out of your region? There will be no need for you to browse the Internet to find out what is going on elsewhere, Your Events can still be your stop to find out what is going on, no matter where you go.

It's not going to work of course, without YOU! So jump on board.

• Is your school holding a play next week? List it!
• Is your golf club holding an open tournament next month? List it!
• Is your band playing down at the local pub this week? List it!

Then get out there and tell your friends about us. Remember, the more listings we get the more beneficial it is for everyone.

In addition to our event listings we also want you to hang around and have some fun. In the upcoming months we will be bringing you competitions, forums and blogs for you to participate in.

The Team

Your Events is owned and operated by Shane Wallace and Dean Shaw, based in Palmerston North.

Web Administrator/Developer

Shane Wallace is the website administrator and developer of Your Events. Shane completed the Bachelor of Information and Communications Technology at UCOL in 2005 and has used his experience gained during this degree to design and implement the site during his spare time. Dean Shaw handles Marketing and Promotions for Your Events. Dean is also the owner operator of ImageLite Posters and BacBou Billboards two companies of which he brings his expertise to Your Events. Email: dean@yourevents.co.nz
